"Perfect location"
We stayed for the weekend (Fri to Sun.) It is only a block to the Public Gardens and Boston Commons. Could also walk to stops for city trolley and duck tours. Hotel service was great and food at the onsite restaurants was good. We got a petite room, which would have been adequate for one person but was cramped for a couple. Although well decorated and with a comfy bed, it was smaller than cruise staterooms we have had. Would definitely stay there again, but in a regular hotel size room. Warning - if travelling in late fall or winter - Boston weather can be cold, the city wind will chill you through the warmest coats, so add layers.

"Great location!"
Staff and accommodations were great and can't beat the price...my only suggestion/complaint would be the room was cold.. I think this was because we were on the first floor and there's a parking deck underneath us. we were in town when it was only 10 degrees. we plan on staying here again but will ask for a higher floor if we go in january again!

"A great value! ADA-compliant rooms are beautiful :)"
My mother and I travel frequently to Boston for medical appointments. The Taj Boston is our home away from home. The ADA-compliant rooms are absolutely beautiful. Each stay there is like a mini-vacation. Perfect location. Elegant surroundings. Friendly, helpful staff. Fine dining. A great choice for us!

"Exquisite stay! We'll be back."
We had 4 nights in Boston recently, and the last three were spent in the Revere. In contrast to the stay in the hotel just across the street on the first night, the space was ample and well detailed, and the service was exceptional and friendly. We were right at home as soon as we arrived. We've stayed in a number of hotels in the Common neighborhood and this is at the top of our list for value and we look forward to returning!

"This is my favorite Boston hotel."
Staying on the Gold floor is worth the price. The cocktail snack incluses baby rack of lamb and lobster roll! The breafast buffet is enormous and delicious. The beds are comfy, and the staff is very accomodating and friendly. What more could you ask for?

"I'm a believer in the quality of Hilton"
The Hilton in Boston's Back Bay provided the single best hotel experience that I've had. Located in a beautiful part of Boston with easy access to Harvard, M.I.T., Feway Park, shopping (both mall and boutique), music (Wally's Jazz club is a short walk), dining (too many to name and all of them close by), etc., etc. I'm a runner and every day I had a new path to follow which lead me through historical sites and beautiful neighborhoods along the St. Charles river. Last, but not least, the staff were professional yet kind and helpful and they made the stay even better. I can't wait to go back.

"Older, but clean, very convenient. Room small."
Room was small. Bathtub had wear on fixtures, small amount of darker grout in tub wall tile. Clean, but worn carpet, occasional snags of fibers and wall paper slightly torn by heater/cooling unit. Was on the 7th floor and free wifi only worked about 1 in 10 attempts over 5 days. They do have better wifi in lobby and two desktop computers in front lobby business center that worked fine. Location is good and price reasonable for downtown Boston. My wife would never stay there again, probably because of small size and the older wear and tear. Lobby and hallways look like they have been recently renovated.

"Good but parking is terrible"
I thought the hotel was great, the staff was great and the rooms were great, but the most annoying part was parking and valet service. I wish I knew what valet service costs and what the closest parking cost. I made a mistake and picked the closest parking and because I had to leave, that was not a good thing to do. Other than that it was great.

"Great location, good hotel"
You really can not beat the location for convinience! Duck tours and on/off trolleys pick up across the street and the "T" stop is just outside the hotel door. The room was nice, comfortable beds and a Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom was small but ok. We really liked the big windows, and it was wonderful that you could open them for some fresh air. My only negative comment is that the lobby furniture and carpet are pretty worn looking. I must say the the restaurant was a cut above the usual hotel food, we really enjoyed our dinner at "Jo". I would recommend the Colonnade for anyone wanting a Back Bay location at a pretty good rate. Not fancy, but very nice.
