"Perfect location"
We stayed for the weekend (Fri to Sun.) It is only a block to the Public Gardens and Boston Commons. Could also walk to stops for city trolley and duck tours. Hotel service was great and food at the onsite restaurants was good. We got a petite room, which would have been adequate for one person but was cramped for a couple. Although well decorated and with a comfy bed, it was smaller than cruise staterooms we have had. Would definitely stay there again, but in a regular hotel size room. Warning - if travelling in late fall or winter - Boston weather can be cold, the city wind will chill you through the warmest coats, so add layers.

"Exquisite stay! We'll be back."
We had 4 nights in Boston recently, and the last three were spent in the Revere. In contrast to the stay in the hotel just across the street on the first night, the space was ample and well detailed, and the service was exceptional and friendly. We were right at home as soon as we arrived. We've stayed in a number of hotels in the Common neighborhood and this is at the top of our list for value and we look forward to returning!

"2 nights in Boston"
I had to get a last minute reservation and the Royal Sonesta Hotel popped up with my flight reservation.  I wasn't disappointed.  Staff was really nice and helpful.  The hotel was really clean.  Room was perfect.  It is right on the water and great location for a morning run along the river before starting your day.  There are great restaurants right across the street.  No airport shuttle, but a taxi isn't too pricey and the train will get you close, but I recommend the taxi.  it is faster and a lot less hassle and only $10 more.  The breakfast is a little pricey, but guess it isn't a Hampton Inn.  Recommend for anyone looking for a great gettaway hotel stay.  you won't be disappointed.

"Awesome Historic Hotel"
The hotel was is situated right in the middle of many historic sites, shopping centers, restraunts, and even the theatre distric. The hotel was clean, the bedding was wonderful and comfortable. The staff was amazing, from the bell men, to the waiters, to the housekeepers, and the concierge could not have been more friendly and helpful. The rooms are small like most historic hotels, but the atmosphere more than makes up for that one area.

"This is my favorite Boston hotel."
Staying on the Gold floor is worth the price. The cocktail snack incluses baby rack of lamb and lobster roll! The breafast buffet is enormous and delicious. The beds are comfy, and the staff is very accomodating and friendly. What more could you ask for?

"A great value! ADA-compliant rooms are beautiful :)"
My mother and I travel frequently to Boston for medical appointments. The Taj Boston is our home away from home. The ADA-compliant rooms are absolutely beautiful. Each stay there is like a mini-vacation. Perfect location. Elegant surroundings. Friendly, helpful staff. Fine dining. A great choice for us!

"Great location!"
Staff and accommodations were great and can't beat the price...my only suggestion/complaint would be the room was cold.. I think this was because we were on the first floor and there's a parking deck underneath us. we were in town when it was only 10 degrees. we plan on staying here again but will ask for a higher floor if we go in january again!

"Excellent Location"
I stayed here with my mother for 6 nights in September. Boston is a very walkable city and this hotel is perfectly located. It's at the edge of Back Bay so you are a few blocks from the trendy shopping area, but also just a long walk away from the historic section of the city (if my 70 something mother could walk it, so can you.) The hotel itself is lovely and and modern looking. The restaurant/bar is expensive (as all hotel restaurants are.) The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room overlooked the construction across the street but I never heard any noise from it. The bathroom was spacious by any hotel bathroom standards. What I liked best about the washroom was the shelving unit with meant we didn't have to leave our things on a water counter top. It was a nice touch.

"Great location, good hotel"
You really can not beat the location for convinience! Duck tours and on/off trolleys pick up across the street and the "T" stop is just outside the hotel door. The room was nice, comfortable beds and a Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom was small but ok. We really liked the big windows, and it was wonderful that you could open them for some fresh air. My only negative comment is that the lobby furniture and carpet are pretty worn looking. I must say the the restaurant was a cut above the usual hotel food, we really enjoyed our dinner at "Jo". I would recommend the Colonnade for anyone wanting a Back Bay location at a pretty good rate. Not fancy, but very nice.
