The staff was excellent! The rooms were clean. First room, Tv didn’t work so she switched us to another room. In that room the mini fridge didn’t work. It was late and we were frustrated so we just dealt with it. Lady at the desk was unable to offer any compensation other than lunch at subway.

My card has two charges pending due to they put a hold before you come in then another hold when you check in. So when you check out, you have two hold on your card which could cause issues with your bank, in which it did mine. The room was fine for what we paid. The whole floor smelled of pot which I guess is to be expected seeming it’s legal now. My sister has severe asthma so she had a hard time with it. Other then that, it was an okay stay

NO SLEEP DUE TO PARTY, BED BUGS, AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
This was the most disappointing hotel stay I've had. The first night was great, we slept well and I felt good about the hotel. It could have been great! BUT...I had some bumps on my arms the next day. I thought maybe I got bit by something outside. I didn't realize until a couple days after checkout as these small bumps developed into giant terribly itchy welts that I had been bitten by bed bugs during my stay. It was miserable. I had huge itchy welts on my arms and face that lasted for over two weeks and had to do deep cleaning of all my belongings.
Our hotel nightmare started the 2nd night of our stay though when there was a party in their outdoor patio space. Drinking, singing and talking REALLY loud was all right outside our room. It started around 10:30pm. I called the desk and complained. The front desk response was "Well, there was a concert tonight so they're gonna be a little rowdy." As if I'm just supposed to be ok with that! I was traveling for work purposes and had an early start the next day. I asked, "Don't you have a quiet hours policy?" Their response was, "Yes, 3am, they have the patio rented until 3am." I called multiple times, they kept saying they were going to ask them to quiet down but it didn't stop till 12:50am. They took my name and number down for management to contact me and no one ever did. I sent an email via Travelocity and also never got a response. I was in room 207. 5/23 -5/25/2019

I am sorry to hear about your stay.
Company records indicate that the staff volunteered to move you room on two occasions and your party declined.
Also, after your checkout, the hotel took the room down and thoroughly investigated the room for any infestations regarding bugs. Maintenance staff at the hotel did not find anything of the nature that you are mentioning in the room.
A computer station is on site and WiFi is free in public spaces. You'll find a business center on site. A fitness center, a terrace, and tour/ticket assistance are also featured at the business-friendly Econo Lodge Darien Lakes. Self parking is free. Smoking is allowed in designated areas at this Corfu hotel.
