The building smelled of mold as soon as we exited the elevator and the hall carpet was wet (wet sign on the floor), the carpet was wet in the room, the room smelled of mold, poor ventilation throughout. Overall poor experience and immediately checked out, as we were told they were all booked. The manager indicated that Travelocity can contact them and they will approve my full refund.

The Bahia Mar is a lovely hotel overlooking the ocean and the marina. It’s beautiful to see the ocean each day and all the boats coming and going. The staff is wonderful very friendly and accommodating. The only issue we had was the accessibility to the beach for my mom. They have a walkway that you can get to the beach but it has stairs so it was difficult for my mom to do. So she really couldn’t sit at the beach. The hotel staff and view were top notch!!
