The TV did not work nor did the telephone. Went to front desk and was told they would come up to remedy the problem. No one showed up. The floor lamp also did not work.

Very clean, staff very polite and helpful. Fitness center, laundry available, free full breakfast and close to shopping and restaurants.

Disappointe

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Overall room updates would improve the hotel. Looks like they did a little on the lobby and moved the breakfast area to another location.
Location: Target is next door but the mall has completely lost most all of it's stores.
I've stayed here before only because it is the cheapest of the 3 in this area of Galesburg. Not any more. The room had a serious ant problem, my nose immediately stuffed up and I discovered black mold going down the wall under the sink and the shower curtain was disgusting.

Great Bed!

Pros: Liked that I could park in the back and use the back entrance.
Location: Located in the heart of other more expensive hotels that had a pool but if you don't care about a pool, this hotel is just fine.
I was impressed with the bed in how comfortable it was. I set the sleep timer and slept the whole night and woke refreshed. The breakfast had hot strawberry waffles you could make yourself. The staff is very pleasant. I like that the sink and mirror are separate from the toilet and shower. Towels are fluffy, not the cheap kind. Glad I stayed there and I would stay there again. The Mall is right across the street. Target is next door. A buffet is across the parking lot. Many restaurants nearby and right off the highway. Great location.

New Owners Are Bad News

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, Poor breakfast, dirty, slow to noexistant internet
The new owners have no experience running a hotel, and are too cheap to do ant work or hire competent help. Let the buyer beware!
