Always stay here when i am in London
Pros:Close restaurants, staff actually remembers your name
i have stayed here 3 times and each time the same, now granted i am a huge Hilton girl but none the less the staff in fantastic, everyone remembers me and when i took my mom for her 65th, they made a big deal of her trip. The rooms are normal for europe, small, minimally appointed, not so ample closet but again, same for the rest of europe. if you want to stay at a boutique hotel that feels like london, if you wan the big brass and glass american room stay elsewhere. i didn't have an issue with the air conditioning but it wasn't hot when i went and check with any hotel before you go as some older hotels in european cities don't have it either. again, i travel for a living and didn't want the big american experience, i went for a vacation, didn't need to spend time in my room so "room comfort" wasn't critical, staff and location were. and the bar was great for mid day mochas and after dinner drinks before bed. i love this place but everyone has their favorites. and if you stay here and don't want to walk far, try the little italian restaurant right around the corner, cool and funky, ton of garlic.

Cons:No free Internet
I stayed here in April 2011 for 4 nights in an executive room for one. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in this hotel and in this general area,as well. The hotel is lovely, very well maintained and just a couple of blocks from Green Park tube. My room was immaculately clean, which for me, is extremely important! The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious, with a window that I could open for ventilation. Also in the room was an armoire with closet space, a safe, tea/coffee making supplies and a mini fridge, and a desk and chair. There was a flat screen TV, as well. My room overlooked a quiet courtyard and was very, very quiet. I am an extremely light sleeper and slept well, never heard any noise at all. All of the staff were very courteous. I would definitely stay here again, I loved it!
