Lovely Boutique Hotel

Pros: Small size. Central, but not main road, location. Charm. Staff.
Cons: Would be nice if breakfast was included.
Location: Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park, Kensington Palace
With charm and character The Gore is a perfect choice for a home base while visiting London. The excellent location, minutes from Hyde Park Gate and the Gloucester Rd tube station, make traveling about easy. With a cheerful dining room, and separate bar adjacent you need not wander far for meals or drinks. Trevor, our concierge, was more than accommodating and took a genuine interest in our stay. The double bed was so comfortable we had no problems sleeping and the bathroom was modern and well appointed.

Charming, Old Meets New

Lovely hotel, with attentive, personal service, a personal spot tho a bit on the edge of Kensington. Just don't book a basic room--they could be very small!
