A delightful hotel.

Pros: The front desk staff was so kind and accommodating. We felt welcomed. The restaurant staff was great.
Location: Close to the WAMU event center, to both the Safeco field and the Century Link field. Close to some amazing restaurants. Close to church.
The Arctic Club Hotel is still styled as it was originally built, around 1914 as a gentlemen's club. The furnishings, the restaurant and rooms take you back to the early 1900s but with the comfort of 2018. The room was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable and it was large enough to accomodate my adult son and myself, allowing us some privacy for each of us, yet a cozy living room ambiance.

Disappointed

Location: Only 2 blocks to the waterfront, but I still can't recommend it.
While the location of this hotel is super convenient to the water, and has great historical value, I can't say much more for it. The interior is dark and dingy and the lobby is quite small. We had no access to the area pictured with the fireplace and "ice" bar because it was booked for a wedding. But the WORST part is, we were given a room with what I suppose you could call a walk-in shower. That is to say, there is no shower pan and the bottom of the shower is basically just part of the floor, but with a drain. OK, so not a big deal except when my husband took a quick shower, the entire room flooded and even ran out onto the carpeting in the main room. So, we figure something is wrong and call the desk. They send someone up with a huge stack of towels, I guess so we could mop it all up. We tried to explain what happened to the person who came up and found out he couldn't speak english, so no help there. Next day, I try to make a "dam" out of towels, but the whole thing flooded again. You couldn't safely use a hair dryer or anything else when we were walking in 1/2 inch of water. So, they moved us to a different room the second night with a normal tub/shower. Best part is, the person at the desk laughed and said "didn't anyone warn you?". This was NOT a cheap hotel.
