Roshan Mendis
President, Travelocity North America

Roshan Mendis has no problem with the art of multi-tasking. As president of Travelocity, North America, he is responsible for all aspects of Travelocity's business in the region as well as India.

Mendis, who is based in Southlake, Texas, has worked for Travelocity and its parent company Sabre Holdings for more than 10 years. Most recently, he served as president of ZUJI, Travelocity's Asia-Pacific subsidiary. In that role, he was responsible for leading development and growth strategies for all Travelocity brands in Asia Pacific, including Travelguru and Travelocity.co.in in India.

Prior to his move to Singapore to lead ZUJI, Mendis served as Travelocity's vice president of business development and was responsible for marketing and managing Travelocity's business-to-business offerings to airline and portal and its affiliate business.

Mendis is a native of Sri Lanka and holds an MBA from Rice University. He completed his undergraduate work at Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii and the University of Cambridge in England.

A lover of the great outdoors with a taste for adventure, Mendis' favorite holiday destination is currently New Zealand, but his dream destination is to visit Africa on safari.
