Not as pictures show
Posted May 27, 2024 on HomeAwayThe pictures are from when the place was new, because its definitely not as nice now. Its old and not as clean. Needs paint and the baseboards need cleaning. The bathroom ensuite has water damage and mold. It is close to Disneyland, it is very quiet and has a great pool. The bed mattress is old and has a high spot in the center. Soft matress. Kids room quite nice. Other bedroom warn and needs paint. Bedding is not quality, warn out. All appliances worked properly. No welcome gift, or letter. Decorating is old. The living room area didn't have enough seating for 4 to sit comfortably to watch a movie. I just think for the cost it should have been closer to the pictures. Ive rented a number of VRBO places and they have always been classy. This place is not that. The pictures made me feel i was getting something more. We had a great holiday , in spite of these issues. We cooked in the kitchen, did laundy and could walk to Disneyland.

Great Disney Location
Posted May 19, 2024 on HomeAwayOverall, very happy with our recent stay here! This is the first time staying in this complex, and we really loved the location and convenience for our Disney days. Our kids (and ourselves) really enjoyed the pool and park areas on our “break days” from Disney. Lots of nearby grocery shopping, which is important for a family with 3 little kiddos. The property was well equipped for young kids, which I appreciate (strollers, high chair, kids cutlery/plates, etc).
I would only say that if you are picky about a high level of esthetics for the place you stay, you may want to consider a different place. There are some renovations that could be done (cracks in grout, creaky floors, etc), but none of this bothered us.
Would definitely stay here again when we return to the happiest place on earth! Thank you!

Great for families!
Posted May 2, 2024 on HomeAwayMy family, all adults and one infant, decided to stay here in April. We wanted somewhere more like home to make it easier for the little one and to spend more time as a family. This home definitely allowed us to do so. Being able to have our own rooms but share common space was key for us adults. Our baby enjoyed her stay too since she got to have her own seat at the table in a high chair that was already there. This gave us so much relief because guess what our family didnt pack? Haha The location was amazing. We stayed M-W and even when we left the house at 715 AM, we still made it into the parks for rope drop! It also made going home after a long day so much easier.
I also want to say the parking spot for this Vrbo is amazing. It is right infront of the house so when we were packing up and unloading it was so easy! They have a garage to use too but k recommend the spot for whatever car has the kiddos. Such an easy transfer.
I plan to stay here again with some friends and their kiddos in October if the dates work! Repeat stay in the works.

Clean, comfortable, and close to the park!
Posted Mar. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayThis property has ample space for a decent sized group, and you simply can't beat the location. The home is kept clean and has great amenities; it's an older building but well-kept. Neighbors all seemed friendly, even those that seem to live there full-time. You can see/hear the Disney fireworks right from the front porch every night; so don't panic where you suddenly hear loud rumbling at 9:30pm. Pool access was incredible, 3 pools and a hot tub that were never busy (though I'm sure that changes with the weather). Would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location

It is about a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney, so it is close enough to go back and take a little break instead of having to be at the parks all day. The house was very clean and close to many restaurants and grocery store. The host was very responsive and check in was easy. We will definitely try and stay here again next time.

Fantastic stay!
Posted Oct. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayThe house was PERFECT for our family! Lots of space for 7 of us. The kids loved the bunk bed. My husband and I took the master suite and the bed was SO comfy and the walk in shower in the ensuite was just great! Everything was clean and we had everything we needed!
The walk to downtown Disney and both parks is very easy and we took advantage of being so close to the parks that we walked home in the afternoon for a rest before walking back to the park for the evenings!
We loved the pool and used it multiple times as the week was a very warm one!!
Thank you for a great VRBO experience. We will recommend your rental to anyone who is looking for a place in Anaheim and would be happy to come back any time!

Disneyland vacation

UNSAFE AND MISLEADING
Posted Sep. 17, 2023 on HomeAwayWhen we first arrived we were unable to get in with the code provided. The host had forgotten to update the keypad and had to look up a different one for us to use. So we were likely using the code from the previous occupants which felt unsafe.
As soon as we walked in we were surprised at the quality of the home. The photos made it look clean and updated but they were very misleading. Looking at the photos now they have things blocking the questionable parts of the home. A lot of the amenities in the photos are also missing like the slide on the patio and toys in the bunk room.
The worst of our experience was that when we arrived the ceiling was caving in one of the bedrooms. We contacted the host and they were unaware of the situation. They came over to look at it while we were out and called telling us to just sleep on the couch until they could have a contractor come the next morning. We asked for a refund so we could stay elsewhere and they said that could be discussed the next day and to just sleep on the couch.
Long story short, after the first night it was deemed unsafe by a contractor. Rather than giving us a refund the host was going to have it fixed WHILE WE WERE STAYING THERE!! We spent the entire first two days of our Disneyland vacation trying to figure out this mess when the host should have immediately offered us a refund to stay somewhere else from the beginning. He agreed to a partial refund on the second day and we left. Do not recommend.

Life happened. Without warning, water damage caused a ceiling issue in one bedroom (thankfully the AC install company took ownership of causing the roof leak, and it was fixed a few days later). Apparently a slow drip allowed water to build up and suddenly cracked the ceiling just before their check-in. Previous guests, cleaners, and us are in this bedroom daily/weekly, so we know the ceiling cracks happened that day. As soon as the guests notified us, we immediately stopped what we were doing to drive and see the ceiling for ourselves. For 12 years, we have always done what’s best & safest for our guests. Looking at the cracks no one could tell the source or extent (just cracks? Or bigger issue? No one knew) so we asked these guests to be on the safe side to use the queen-sized sofa-bed downstairs (not just a ‘couch’) that night until we could arrange for a contractor to look at the issue the next day. At this point, the guest seemed understanding. They still had 8 beds for their 6 person group, and when she asked if they would be compensated for the first night we said definitely. Neither party brought up the idea of ‘immediately offering a refund to stay somewhere else from the beginning'. We are not mind-readers, but we do create a bunch of 5-star stays for families (13 five-star reviews in a row until this review. We are grateful for the track record our guests have given us over the years when someone posts a one-star review like this. Also thankful for our professional cleaners who leave the place very clean for each guest). Anyways, back to setting the record straight: We arranged for the contractor to arrive the following day after the guests left for Disneyland, to avoid disturbing them. The contractor’s assessment of the ceiling was water damage, which we let the guests know. It was then that they decided they wanted to stay elsewhere. We understood and immediately their money was refunded. To be clear, we would never have a contractor do this type of work while a guest is staying. In other cases, we do need to have the washer or dryer or something fixed asap. This is a townhome run by two fair people who do our best to problem-solve with what we are dealt that day. So far, this has worked out for us great! We are not sure why this guest felt the need to leave a one-star review filled with nonsense about the code being unsafe and the photos being misleading. We are so pleased that over the years we have shared our home with families that are fair and honest about things. When communicated with, we accommodate any chance we get. In the end, we stand by our consistent, great reviews. Please read them for yourselves. Thank you for understanding!

Fantastic place to stay!
Posted Sep. 15, 2023 on HomeAwayWe stayed for 11 days and boy did we love it!!! The condo had everything we needed and more. The space was set up so nicely with great sized bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms (having 3 toilets was key to getting out of the house early for our daily activities!)
We enjoyed the pools and the walk to Disney was short and sweet with shaded areas to keep out of the heat! Thank you for this wonderful place to stay!!
