Publié le 14 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our second time back at the cottage. The pool is brilliant and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The surrounding are is beautiful and the cottage is really clean, snug and well kitted out. Another great stay.

Amazing from start to finish
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely, large cottage and private swimming pool. Everything was great, from cleanliness to kitchen tools available and comfortable beds. We even used the fireplace for a cozy evening.The swimming pool is huge, and it has a jacuzzi part - perfection!

Great location
Publié le 1 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was lovely and warm and has all the little extras you don’t always get, such as boxes of tissues, tin foil, kitchen roll etc. The pool was spotless and so warm. Garden and view was beautiful. We could easily walk to Thorpe Cloud and the nearest pub. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Property & Location

Set in a quiet, and peaceful location, with views of the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool was definitely an added bonus, and was much bigger than it looks on the photos. We really enjoyed our stay, and didn't want to leave.

Pure Bliss!

We were so lucky with the weather, the setting is beautiful. The cottage was clean and very warm and cosy - I will say from the pictures I thought it may be a little cold, but it definitely wasnt! Also cute flowers on our arrival and an anniversary card! So thoughtful.
The pool area was immaculate and the pictures do not do it justice, the size is perfect and my glasses steamed up just walking through the doors!
The bed was super comfy and I have now actually purchased the same bedding!
All in all a perfect trip that will not be forgotten, thank you so much 😊

The owner was available if required but did not interfere in our break.
The pool and hot-tub were a real luxury, amazingly clean and very private.
As for the location, wow, stunning views, really quiet and surrounded by beautiful walk opportunities.
This is a perfect getaway from life’s hustles, a place to completely recharge your batteries.

Great short break in a wonderful part of the country

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub just across the path - which were private and surprisingly large. The cottage was brilliantly situated for Dovedale and Ilam Park in the immediate vicinity - and the rest of the Peak District to the North and North West. Larger towns such as Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton are a shortish drive on good roads.
Hosts were welcoming - we had a much needed few days in a lovely place.
