Name Change! What Breakfast?
Publié le 28 févr. 2024 sur HotelsLet’s start with Hide and Seek. The address somehow was contusing our GPS. Several hotels are nearby. No answer at the hotel. Finally we discovered at the Cracker Barrel nearby that the hotel’s name has changed to Baymont. The good was the CB restaurant next door and the room was what I expected for $63.
At 7:15 am the next morning, we went to their “breakfast” but found the door locked. The server let us in, but hadn’t made any coffee yet. She said all she had been provided for breakfast was cereal. Won’t be flopping there again while headed south.

After we spent 45 min looking for this property - because it still had the old signage (The Baymont). The man at the desk told me that there were no more rooms available even though I had a paid Reversation. After some upset discussion on my part, he found a room. As we walked down the hall looking for our room number which was a Magic Marker on the wall. I walked into the bathroom and there was a bug in the tub. The sink didn't drain. The bed was soft. The floor was sticky. There was no ice machine. The whole place looked as if all the previous items ( toilet paper holder, towel holder, lock on front door) had been ripped out. We would have moved but we checked with 4 other hotels in the area and they were full. This was truly the worst hotel/motel we have ever been in.

Publié le 17 févr. 2024 sur HotelsIt definitely smelled clean on arrival, the room was decent for the price. But breakfast took the cake!! They literally layed out a loaf of bread and a tub of country crock butter!!! I was beyond disappointed!! Now I have to go order my own breakfast.

You booked me a room at Budget Inn, yet the sign and all the badging says Baymont. Very difficult to find among all the other hotels here. I was here approximately ten minutes before someone attempted to sell me drugs. Dirty, ugly and situated among what appears to be Skid Row. Even though I just needed a place to sleep on my way to Florida, I would have appreciated it if you could have mentioned these facts in your listing.
