College visit not the beat experience

Our stay was not so great. Our car was broken into along with 3 others. The cop said unfortunately this is a weekly occurrence there and they don't have enough law enforcement to do anything about it. When asked about security footage, the front desk said they have it but they can't show it to anyone. The hotel itself needs some work, the elevators are trashy, the ice machines don't work, our toilet was wobbly, and the washer on our floor beeped all night with nothing in it. Definitely will pay a little more for somewhere with better security next time.

I do want to complain about the managers' response to the compliants of no heat in the room that I checked in. I moved three times while at this location. I am not statisfied with the decision that Shantea, tge general manager provided. She was impersonalble and stated ahe would not be able to refund me a night's stay. Multiple heating units were dysfunctional I can't believe this is a IGH hotel.

We are not familiar with the Atlanta area, but this hotel was not as expected. We are glad we only spend one night; we are a family of 4 and when we asked for extra towels, the front desk person gave us a hard time. I noticed he also gave a hard time to the people in front of us that was claiming their bed sheets weren't clean. When we came back from our night out in downtown, there was the police, rescue, fire fighters, when we got into the elevator, we saw a guy being taken by paramedics, it looked like he overdosed. I believe it happened in our floor bcse we saw syringes in the hallway. And to top it off, after a very busy day and trying to rest, we realized the room didn't have curtains, I had to use my hair clip to put the sides together so we could sleep. It was not a very good experience, like I said very happy it was only one night.
