Breakfast was terrible, toast or frozen burrito. Room was below average for the price. The warning about $100 reset fee if you change settings on the tv were enough to put me off from even using it.

We take pride in offering a variety of breakfast options, including juice, cereal, yoghurt, breakfast burritos, bagels, muffins and pastries. It's disappointing to hear that these choices did not appeal to you. However, our location is surrounded by many dining choices that offer great cooked breakfasts. In regards to the room, we apologize if it did not meet your expectations in terms of value. We strive to provide clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations. Especially given the proximity to Aspen. Regarding the TV settings, we appreciate your understanding of the importance of common courtesy in returning the settings to the original state. This ensures that the next guest can enjoy a seamless TV experience upon arrival. (not find the TV on Netflix) The 100 reset fee is in place to cover the costs associated with restoring the settings and we hope for our guests cooperation in this matter. We value your input, and your comments will be shared with our team.

It was ok and great if Basalt is all you plan on

Our stay started rough. We were not aware that the hotel was an OTA Hotel Collect hotel. We were charged by Hotels for the hotel first then again at check-in. Hotels has not made this right yet but I am confident that they will. The hotel itself was nice, it is not anywhere near Aspen like we thought and Ubers/Lyfts are extremely hard to rely on. We figured out the bus system after the first day as we were there for a 2-day festival in Aspen. The other issue was, that the maid service came literally at 9:00 on all days even on check-out day. We were under the impression that if we wanted maid service we needed to ask for it and not wake up at 9:00 after a very late night. Other than that it was a great hotel.

Thank you for sharing your experience regarding your recent stay. We regret any confusion with the billing process concerning the OTA Hotel Collect system. We are sure they will promptly address and resolve the issue. Yes we are 17 miles from Aspen however, our pricing reflects the cost savings that guests enjoy by opting for a 20 minute bus ride to Aspen. We are conveniently located 300 yards from the RFTA bus system, providing a budget friendly alternative to the higher hotel prices in Aspen. We apologize for the confusion regarding the housekeeping schedule. It is our standard practice to service rooms each day. We encourage guests to utilize the "Do Not Disturb" sign on their door. We appreciate your understanding and glad to hear aside from these issues you thought out hotel was great. Thank you for staying with us.

Great place to stay while skiing Aspen Snowmass. Loved staying by the river.
