Amazing stay
Publié le 6 août 2022 sur HomeAwayOur family had an amazing time. The house was way better than the photos. We have a love for older homes and this one did mot disappoint. Mary is one of the best hosts we have ever had and we travel a lot. Everything you need is there. The property is beautiful the amenities are bountiful. The sunsets were gorgeous, the ski shows were great. We had absolutely no complaints. The only small thing for us was it is just a little difficult getting in and out of the water, but that didn't stop our kids who were on the paddle boards most of the time. We would definitely return. Thank you Mary for making sure our summer vacation this year was amazing!!

I would love to host your family again. I freeze rent rates for repeat renters, please keep my home in mind. I’m getting a lift or roll n go ramp for the lake as it can be difficult to launch otherwise. I also did get two more children’s kayaks and one additional inflatable SUP. So there is plenty of amenities for the family. I’m all about families coming to this house, it makes me happy to see them bonding in nature. Thank you again for staying at my place.

Beaver Dam
Publié le 4 août 2022 sur HomeAwayOur family enjoyed our time in Beaver Dam.! The lake views were beautiful. We very much enjoyed the water with fishing, kayaking and paddle boating, that is where we spend the majority of your time.
Mary was very responsive and easy to work with! One thing we missed was a binder or book explaining house rules, checkin/out process and things to do etc.

Well, I’m very disappointed in this review. I’m shocked that your words indicate a good review is appropriate yet the stars chosen indicate a poor review. The check in process is indicated in text, as it would be inappropriate to be in a book inside the house. The check out process is really simple, you leave the property as you received it. Literally, lock it up the same way you found it. Leave no dirty dishes, no dirty walls, no stains on carpet etc. House rules and check out is on my ad in Vrbo. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself as I did not hear a peep from you during your stay. So thank you again for staying at my lake house and enjoying all the amenities it brings. Be well.

Beautiful, spacious home
Publié le 20 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayMy family and I spent a week at this rental and enjoyed every minute of it! There were 10 of us (5 adults, 5 kids) and we had plenty of space for all of us.
The night views of the sunset were amazing! We were also able to enjoy the firework show that Beaver Dam set off right from the pier! We also enjoyed watching the ski show almost every day.
We spent every day fishing, with success everyday.
We had a few minor things come up during the week but Mary was always very responsive, no matter the time, and took care of the issues fast.
We will definitely keep this rental at the top of our list for future vacations!

Old house with lots of character with a breathtaking view right on the lake and a beautiful yard
Publié le 29 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayMary is an amazing host , check in was simple even though we got there early , the house is a 1920s house but is beautiful with a lot of character- we only had one little problem and Mary was on top of it and had it fixed very quickly and went above and beyond ! She is a great communicator and the love is evident in all the little extras on the property - the beds were comfortable - great spaces to relax or entertain - we had a wonderful time, we were in Wisconsin for or sons wedding and had much going on but we looked forward to getting back to the house to relax- Thanks Mary for a wonderful week, thank you for sharing your home with us- we loved being there!!

On the lake!
Publié le 27 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayOverall a good stay with many beds and rooms. The lake access is very nice and kayaks were a great bonus. The house has fresh paint and many newly remodeled rooms. The owner was responsive to us when a need arose. A couple things to consider that were unexpected; The house is on a busy street with lots of car noise at all hours but didn't bother us too much. There was not a garbage can we could find so we stacked the trash bags in the garage. Life jackets should be provided for the kayaks, but we purchased a child size one and left it there for the next visitors. The lawn was mowed but I had to do a lot of sweeping at the front porch and garage access areas, minor cleanup could be used. Overall a good visit with great lake access.

Hi David, I’m so disappointed that you bought a child life vest. I have approximately 20 life vests on site in the shed by the water. I will communicate that for future travelers as I don’t want anyone to purchase one. I will be requesting another inspection by the cleaning crew for the garage and front porch. Thank you for the feedback. I hope you will visit us again so you can have a five star experience.

Thanksgiving in Beaver Dam
Publié le 8 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayGreat location. Right on the lake and close to downtown. All the beds were really comfortable and the bed linens were wonderful.
Giant flat screen TV in the living room and TV's in all the bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking meals. Our host was wonderful!
