Excellent choix!

Nous avons un surclassement gratuit. Nous avons la megasuite alors que j’avais réservé la chambre la plus basique qui soit! Le restaurant offre des repas tout simplement délicieux! La vue sur la ville est superbe. Attention, les prises électriques à trois branches ne fonctionnent pas. Heureusement, ils nous ont trouvé un adaptateur afin de travailler..

Hotel is very nice. A little surprising that our room 311 is on the 4th floor. HVAC system in room has a loud rattling sound while running :(

There was construction literally on the other side of our window (we could have touched hands through the glass), with workers up early and active. We couldn't open our blinds otherwise it would have been super awkward! The food was mediocre at best at the restaurant, yet the ambiance was nice on the deck. The best thing about this hotel, was that the bed was super comfortable

We stayed at this hotel twice on our vacation. Our first and last nights in Belize. We were offered and accepted airport transportation for a reasonable fee which was great and on time. The property itself is very nice. The rooms are spotless and the beds and pillows were great. The WIFI was free and fast. There is a department store of sorts located adjacent to the hotel which has lots of handy items and even souvenirs. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The roof top restaraunt is also very nice and worth a visit. The only down side to the entire place was the ongoing construction on one side of the hotel. That is unavoidable to be sure but both nights we were given rooms on the "construction side" of the hotel that had workers right outside our window. Maybe it was completely full and could not be helped but that was disappointing. The staff informed us of the upgrades coming with the construction and it will make a very nice place even better. Lastly and important to us, this property was a very walkable distance to the Belize City-San Pedro water taxi. Overall, the Golden Bay Hotel is very nice and was nearly perfect for us.
