Great Condo & Great Location

Publié le 18 sept. 2018 sur HomeAway
Beautiful Condo within short walking distance of Big Sky Resort. The actual condo was a little different than in the picture - but in person, it was even more beautiful! It was a little confusing as to whether it was a VRBO from a private party or managed by Big Sky Resorts - turns out is was the latter. We would have appreciated an email in advance lettings us know we should go check in at Huntley Lodge at Big Sky. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and were able to fit 4 couples comfortably with room for more.

The unit was dirty and the main bedroom did not have sheets/blankets. A hot tub was out of order and filthy.

Great Ski in location in Big Sky

Publié le 25 avr. 2018 sur HomeAway
This property was perfect for 6 of us skiing in Big Sky. It located just uphill from the Huntley Lodge (Approx 600 yards) which allows for skiing from the condo right to the Explorer lift (or, with a slight traverse uphill, directly to the mountain village and Swift Current and Ram Charger lifts.) Return to the condo is via the White Wing run requiring attention lest you miss the turn off and have to take the chair back up to try again or walk) One day there was enough powder to turn off the run, and ski 20 yards through the parking lot directly to the stairs to our condo. The condo itself is more than adequate. I give it 5 stars for what it is - a spacious place in a great location priced to reflect its age. (if you are looking for opulence and premium finishes, you would be better served in paying lots more and finding a home on the mountain) The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils, pots/pans needed to feed our group. There is a small grocery in the mountain village, and a larger grocery store on the mountain access road. Also an operable grill on the deck. There are two bedrooms on the main floor with either queen or king size beds. One bedroom has its own bath, and the other has a shared bath for general use on the main floor. The upstairs has a bunk room with 3 beds in it, a bathroom, and a loft/sitting area. Views out of the main living/dining area are of Andestite mountain and the mountain village area. There was a one car garage for our use (it was not locked, and is operable manually) Guests here check in at the Huntley lodge area and have access to the fitness center / locker rooms / sauna/ and shower, laundry facility, and outdoor pool and hot tub. With a good pair of outdoor boots, it is a 5 minute walk down the hill to use these facilities. Of note is that this is not a typical owner - you will not be contacted by the owner after booking this property. I panicked after submitting payment and not hearing from the owner via email. The owner is listed as Travelscape LLC. I never heard from them but called Big Sky reservations and was able to confirm our stay (mention Beaverhead condo). Just make sure when you make your reservation, you are sure of your dates and travel plans as this rate is completely non-refundable at the time of booking. Overall, a decent, spacious property in a great location for a great price with use of great amenities a short walk away at Huntley Lodge.

Great condo! Great location!

Publié le 12 avr. 2018 sur HomeAway
We did an early check in at Huntley and got into our condo @ 3 instead of having to wait till 5. Condo was clean and decribed accurately on the website. The only thing we didn't realize was the pool is down at Huntley Lodge which was a bummer and not convenient but the hottub in the condo was an added bonus!! Would definitely book again!
