Lots of potential, but fell way short of it.

The room rate was great. The room that i had booked 10 weeks in advance, was not available. There were 2 of us and they gave us 2 separate rooms for the same price. That was OK. The issues started when i got to the room. There was paint or spackle on all the tile from bathroom to entry way. I sat my travel bag on the counter and apparently plumbers putty had not been cleaned off the countertop. It made a sticky mess. The TV did not work. The bed is so high off the ground i could not climb into it.

Pleasant 2 night Stay

I was not expecting the room to be that small but that was my fault. After all, the name is Microtel. But since we didn’t spend much time in the room it was fine. It was clean, quiet, and served the purpose.

Blake Shelton concert vacation

The Microtel Inn and Suites in Bossier City was a great value for the budget conscience traveler. The room was very small and would not have worked if we had taken our dogs with us and their large kennels. We had difficulties with our key cards working two separate times. A safety concern we noticed was the side entrance door was locked and unusable. This could have been an issue during an emergency situation. The staff was very nice and courteous any time we ran into them entering or exiting the front lobby.
