We loved our weekend stay!

Fantastic Stay!
Posted Nov. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayI stayed at this amazing studio cottage with my girlfriend for 2 nights for her birthday. Our hosts, Liz and Adam were simply amazing. They allowed us an early check in and a late check out. Liz even brought out bicycles for us to use to tour around the neighborhood and ride along the shore line.
Because it was my girlfriends birthday (or maybe they just do this), they had Prosecco and Orange Juice plus beer and cheese and other snacks for us when we arrived. The cottage is adorable, perfect size and location facing the water. We had free use of all of the amenities (firepit (wood and gas), pool, hot tub, paddle boards, etc.) but because it was late Oct and a bit chilly we only used the wood firepit and made smores with the chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers they left for us!
There are lots of great restaurants and breweries in the area, so there was never a dull moment.
I can't say enough about what an amazing place this is and how special our hosts were. We will be back!!!

Weekend get away / October 2023

The owners are very nice, friendly, helpful! My out of town friend and I enjoyed our stay very much! Will definitely come back to visit again!

Just gorgeous
Posted Oct. 2, 2023 on HomeAwayAdam and Liz's waterfront studio is spectacular and they were perfect hosts. We hit a whammy with the weather and it basically never stopped raining during our stay, but the comfy recliners and panoramic view of the bay definitely allowed us to make the best of staying in. The studio itself is well equipped and we appreciated the numerous goodies Adam and Liz left for us. The only strike against the studio is the Murphy bed; we had to MacGyver things to use as nightstands, and its design meant an obstructed view of the TV from the bed (though we greatly appreciated that the TV was set up for streaming, something not yet true everywhere). Otherwise, everything is amazing. The property and all of its outdoor space really is spectacular, and the kayaking and swimming look like they would be phenomenal here, so we would definitely recommend coming in peak summer, when you can take full advantage of the long days and relatively lower chance of coastal storms. Branford, CT is beautiful; we were actually looking for a place to stay on the North Fork of Long Island (the other side of the Sound!) and Adam and Liz's studio somehow came up in the search results. It was a happy glitch; we'd definitely consider staying here again.

I’m sorry about the unfortunate weather during your stay. We are happy to know that you enjoyed staying in the studio.
The Murphy bed has night stands that pull out when you want to use them. I’m sorry you didn’t notice the pull out feature. The tv is also mounted on a bracket that allows you to pull it out and rotate the position. You can view tv comfortably in bed or the recliners. Unfortunately you didn’t notice that feature. Thank you for letting us know. Perhaps we will put a label on to let guests know about these features.

Delightful in every way!
Posted Sep. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayOur stay here was well worth the 8 hour drive. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. They provided all sorts of goodies upon our arrival. We immediately felt welcomed and our stay was very comfortable. The views and sunsets were some of our favorites! Thank you again for making our stay fun and truly enjoyable! We do want to come back!

Close knit family time

CT Beach vaca
Posted Aug. 10, 2023 on HomeAwayThe property is exactly what you see advertised and much more, beautiful setting in Branford, CT with private beach, pool, hot tub, paddle boards and bbq grill. The house has a wonderful kitchen stocked with all equipment needed for cooking, the living area is cozy with beautiful water views, the outside seating is very comfortable with a gas fire pit near the house and another fire pit on the private beach. The private beach association swimming area is beautiful to hang out or swim and dive off the spring board. The owners are accommodating and responsive! We’ll be back!

Beautiful and peaceful beach
Posted Aug. 3, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time staying at this beach cottage. It was quiet and restful…which is just what we were looking forward to. We enjoyed the private beach most! The tandem kayak was fun and there were so many other amenities available if we wanted to use them. (Paddle boards, bikes, a hot tub) The property hosts, Adam and Liz, were lovely. The extras they include (champagne, a few drinks in the frig, snacks, s’mores) are thoughtful and were appreciated. The reviews for this cottage are spot on!

Immaculate Property
Posted Jul. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayWe stayed at the property for 3 nights and found everything top shelf. First off the place was immaculate and had everything we needed. The Property Managers provided a bunch of extras such as K cups, waffles, a few beers and vodka coolers, a bottle of prosecco and a large container of orange juice as well as ingredients for s'mores! Also, prior to our visit we recieved a list of places to shop as well as their favorite restaurants and things to do in the area. The pool and beach were great and our 3 grandchildren came one afternoon for the pool, beach and BBQ lunch and had a great time.
Wonderful place with wonderful hosts and would highly recommend the place and go back as well.
