Very convenient location near Brighton railway station. Well insulated from street noise so a good nights sleep. Reception staff very helpful with information and answering questions. The room was spacious and clean. The room itself needs updating though. No electrical sockets near the bed or USB sockets to charge a mobile phone. As a city centre site on a lower floor the window view is of the street. I added a breakfast option which was good.

Lack of pillows, only one sore pillow provide for a double bed couple to stay. The paying for parking is unclear, as the email went to junk it wasn’t u till I arrived at the hotel that I found parking was in a separate location and I was required to pay. I think this is something that needs to be mentioned when booking, as parking is an important factor when going away somewhre.

Idiosyncratic bathroom pods work reasonably well but are not especially "roomy". The toilet flush in our room did need repeated pressing to ensure that it not continally dribble water. The room was rather cold and required running the airconditioning heater on it maimum setting to heat up the room. The views over office blocks from our room on level 4 were unappealng. The bed was on the hard side and we coud only find one spare pillow in our room. There were no USB carge points in the room.
