A step up in standards!
Posted Mar. 20, 2024 on HotelsIt was a real step up on any hotel I've stayed at in the area, very attentive staff at reception and at breakfast. The room was huge and a reasonable price, very comfortable and warm. Will definitely book again.

Great hotel but beware the service charges
Posted Mar. 18, 2024 on HotelsThe hotel is fantastic in respect to location, ambience and comfort of room.
The thing that lets it down somewhat is the 12.5% service charge that is added to everything. Even a drinks order at the bar will be uplifted by this amount which is even more frustrating as you are literally there to receive your drink.
This deterred us from drinking in the hotel beyond the first occasion.

Hotel has 2 nice bars where you can go and relax . The rooms are dated but comfortable. The room we had waa quiet apart from screaming kids at 6am in the morning in the corridor outside the room .
