Peaceful on the river

Perfect for Peaceful Miami Univ. Graduation Weekend
Publié le 16 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for our family's stay to celebrate our youngest graduating from Miami University. We were looking for a place away from all the pomp and circumstance, where three generations of family could relax between weekend ceremonies in Oxford. The drive to the college was simple and on country roads.
We rented both sides of the river house, had a cookout and celebration Saturday at the shelter house, explored and waded down the river and had a nice little bon fire the last night there. The house was very clean, well equipped and the beds were comfortable.
Everything we needed was in town: restaurants, IGA, butcher, ice cream, CVS and dollar stores.
Would love to come again when weather is warmer to fully enjoy the river. Thank you for sharing your lovely properly!

Nice riverfront place
Publié le 15 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a good time at this place, rented both sides, beds were comfy, place was clean, perfect for being close to town but felt secluded, even with owners house directly behind, house sits on hill, so going up an down the hill to shelter house an river u will get a workout! Caught some catfish on the river at night, overall nice place!

Great time exploring Brookville

The owners were terrific communicators, responded quickly if we had any problems, and friendly. Would definitely rent again. Thank you!

Beautiful River Retreat
Publié le 10 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a very nice stay at the river house. The pavilion was great to cook and hang out in, especially when we got some rain during the trip. Easy river access with a beautiful area of the river to hang out in if the water isn't too high (luckily it wasn't our whole trip until the day we were checking out). They even had a horseshoe pit near the pavilion which was a nice added bonus! The house was very clean, and it was nice having two separate areas right next door to each other. Close to liveries, horseback riding, the lake, and we highly recommend seeing the wolf habitat nearby as well! The owner's residence is close, but they were very kind and it still felt secluded and private. We plan to return in the future!
