Basic clean room, very rude reception staff
Publié le 11 févr. 2024 sur HotelsI booked two rooms, for my mother and my son. As my son was arriving later, my mother had booked in, and left my sons room key at reception. When son arrived, reception closed. He rang and was met with a rude reception staff who said it wasnt her problem, and she couldnt do anything about it. At no stage did they inform my mother reception would be closed at a certain hour. Eventually they stated his key was in a locked box.

Hi Lisa,Thank you for your review.As per my correspondence with your son Hamish on Friday 16/02/2024 10:41 AM;"I have been in contact with CERTIS security regarding your experience with their staff member in the after hours control room. I can assure you that this is not the expectation we have with CERTIS when assisting our after-hour check in guests."The conversation Hamish had not been with Madison Staff but a third party security company we use to conduct our after-hours as we are no staffed 24 hours.I have reached out to CERTIS as per my correspondence with Hamish and an apology was given and he had been understanding and thankful for my follow up.Regarding your mothers booking, a response to Margaret has been give to the direct email sent to Madison Canberra on Tue 13/02/2024 7:16 PM which i have still yet yo receive a response from Margaret or Expedia.thank you again for your email an giving us the opportunity to explain that this had not been hotel staff yet a third party company.

Clean, comfy, and good value for money 😊

We wanted to take them home 😀 Had all the usual amenities, kettle, toaster, microwave, kitchenette. We were very happy with the room and our stay. The hotel is very easy to find on Northbourne Ave, close to civic. Under cover parking. Overall we will be happy to stay again, it's our new Canberra go to hotel.
