The property had many cats and dogs in all areas specifically eating areas. So if you are allergic or don’t like to eat with cats and dogs, not a good place to stay. The property is also a distance from the town so it is isolated if you want some peace and calm.

Place looked like the pictures. I was disappointed when I didn’t find a swim up bar as it was said on the listings. Other than our stay was pleasant

Clean. Good service. Mediocre food. Limited all-inclusive. Some goodies had to be purchased. Too much on the q codes. Reserve this, reserve that. Too beholden to check-in and check-out hours. I.e. arrive early, have to pay for food.

This hotel falls very short on the things they promise. We were given 1 towel each for our entire stay. Very basic necessities such as toilet paper would run out and not be refilled. Pool towels are given sparingly and amenities were not there. We would come back to a “clean” room and there would still be sand everywhere, along with our garbage and dirty towels that were not changed. The hotel restaurant refused to accommodate us because we were 10 minutes late saying they were now seating 8pm reservations (at 7:10pm). There is only one bar that is open all the time on the property and it is far from the rooms. Everything is practically self serve, if you want a drink of water at night you will have to go outside to get it yourself. Half of the beach - you have to pay more to sit there. The food did not live up to the standards I had, it was barely edible (cheap cuts of meat, small servings, no variety). I am not sure what is “all inclusive” about his because even things like snacks (that they advertise are available after 10pm) and coffee (in COLOMBIA) were not available on more than one occasion. The food and ambiance is much better in the actual city of Cartagena (this hotel is about 20 min outside the city) - I would not stay here again. Way too much money for the things they promise and don’t fulfill. We really just slept here because of how disappointed we were- and even that was a mission because of very loud neighbors despite the hotel having NOTHING to do after 10pm.

Pros: food was great and they do a fantastic job at encouraging guests to not waste food. Pet-friendly (even with strays). The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were allowed an early check-in -- it took 3 hours -- but we were grateful for allowing us to enter the room early. They also tried their best to accommodate a late checkout but they were fully booked and we could see how busy the hotel was. They also provide a shuttle service to town free of charge which was very helpful. Cons: There is nothing to do outside the hotel area. The Entertainment team and activities lacked creativity and budget.
