Thought it had a breakfast buffet like most hotels got a bill for 41 dollars for a BS breakfast the charge was in small plaque where could not be seen 41 $ for breakfast 😢

They have a mild issue with bugs. The first night I had to kill a roach in the shower and I almost cancelled the booking but decided against it, it might’ve been a one off because I didn’t see another one, however it’s not something you’d expect from a DoubleTree. The rooms were a bit run down. The location is good and the staff was good.

Two star hotel with four star rating

How did they get a two star hotel rated as four? The rooms are dingy and grimy. I asked to move rooms due to urine on the bathroom floor, but the desk said the hotel was full. Hilton.com, Hilton’s phone number and hotels.com all said there were more rooms. This hotel is old and disgusting.

Bit of a mixed bag service wise.

This review is a tale of 2 halves - the night we checked in the person on the check-in desk was pretty unhelpful, and there was only one person running both the bar and waiting on the restaurant - he had a pretty bad attitude and clearly didn't want to be there - would ignore requests from those at tables and clearly was not having a good day - even told a customer who had just sat at a table to move to a table closer to him so he didn't have to walk so far! Next day the morning staff could not have been more helpful - happy to help in any way they could and the shuttle bus driver who was not busy offered to take us to our meeting 2 miles away free of charge. All in all a mixed bag.
