Upon check in to a smoke free campus there was a gentleman waiting on an employee to have her smoke break. He was right next to the kiosk where payments were made and was hovering over hearing personal information. When finished the employee and him proceeded to smoke right at the doors. Our room changed because I requested not first floor. But the room type was not available. That is fine but I asked for a refund for the difference. They could not honor they and said contact the third party. The third party said the hotel had to issue it. Then when I called down again the staff said well you should have disputed it. I did dispute it but y’all said I had to with third party. The lady at the desk knew she was the one that should have. The room was disgusting dead bugs not swept or vacuumed.Little to no breakfast options and just overall dirty and cigarette smoke everywhere. If it’s smoke free campus then right where the doors open is not a smoke spot (employees). Check out was smooth and the desk clerk at checkout was a different story she was very nice. She is the only reason I gave 2 stars for some and not zero.

Breakfast was good, staff super sweet especially the man working the Breakfast area. Older but for the price would stay again. Very clean.

When waiting to check in (at around 8pm) after traveling SEVEN hours, I had to wait easily 15 minutes for the pregnant lady to come inside from smoking to check me and the other five plus people in. The outside was beyond sketchy with people watching you from the cars felt like we were gonna get mugged at any moment. The room floor was dirty and had change (coins) laying around the floor. The “amazing” breakfast included is small children sized muffins, cereal, and you can make your own waffle. Waffle guy (March 9th) that helped was really nice and amazing tbh but the front desk definitely needs nicer and more considerate workers, they were rude and mumbled when speaking.
Perk-wasn’t noisy and the waffles were good.

The whole inside smelled like cigarette smoke.
There was hair in the shower, our toilet seat was broken, there was hair in the bed that appeared to belong to a dog.
The breakfast was excellent. Lots of options and the staff made sure everything stayed clean and stocked. The front desk was friendly and efficient.
