Clean and right at the center.

Wife’s family lives in Chiba, so we’ve found Diawa is the best option in the Chiba Station area. Friendly, professional staff. Clean rooms with larger rooms available. Good breakfast buffet with Japanese and western breakfast options.

I liked that it was very close to the Chiba Station where I needed to go to to catch the train or monorail to my tourist places. I am also a runner and the Chiba Park is only 1/2 mile away.Lots of eating places.

The hotel was just a 5-minute walk from the train station and less than 10 minutes to Sogo.
Our 3 single-bed room was very clean with many electrical outlets (no need to fight over or ration charging time of devices!). Bathroom was spacious with separate full-sized deep bathtub and generously-spaced shower areas! Full amenities in the room.
The room was very well insulated, almost like a cocoon! We didn’t hear our neighbours at all! Super important for light sleepers!
Only niggle (but not a major one) was the breakfast spread. We stayed for 7 nights in total and faced almost the same variety of choices every day. Could do with a little more differentiation every few days. To be fair, the quality of dishes was good.
We were so impressed with our stay that we will be looking at Daiwa hotels on our next trip!

No coffee in the room, that was our only complaint

My wife is from Chiba. We found Daiwa years ago, and always stay here when visiting family and friends. Friendly, updated, clean, right by Chiba Station yet quiet.

Hotel has a small frontage next to a restaurant.
