Absolutely lovely cottage. Very beautiful and spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Overnight Stay
Posted Feb. 24, 2024 on HotelsI frequent Chincoteauge Island for short getaways. This was my first overnight stay at Key West Cottages. I was pleasantly surprised. From a few one bedroom units to many. Now, there are two bedroom, two bathroom units. The cleanliness was very comforting. There was a pool and it looked ready for use in February. I was told there is a beach setting and fishing as the property sits on the water but, I did not get to see it as we were in and out the next morning. In the words of General McArthur: "I shall return."

I was greeted by Mary. She was so kind and welcoming. She gave me a map of the area and told me about the local treasure hunt that takes place on Saturdays. The cottage itself was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed. The only minor issue I had was that the lock to one of the bedrooms was broken so the kids kept coming. The cottages are pretty close together but you're unable to hear anything from them, which is very good. There are a lot of nearby restaurants. A lot of the stores were closed for the season. However, I would definitely recommend staying here due to the hospitality and quiet environment.

These colorful cottages are great. The property is clean, quiet, has ample parking and an amazing location. The cottages have everything you need for a quick trip, or a long vacation. We would definitely stay here again.
