Memorial Day bike and kayak weekend
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayI came with two friends. We were here to bike the Colchester Causeway and do some kayaking. We also visited the Ethan Allen homestead and spent time in Burlington shopping and dining. The house was in the perfect location and was just lovely. It was a mix of quaint eclectic and lake decor. The beds were very comfortable, there was a nice kitchen and dining area and a cosy living room. We were steps away from the dock and kayak launch so there was always the sound of water lapping the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again for another visit.

Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for the second time because I find it so enjoyable. The view is beautiful and it’s only about 15 minutes from UVM. A perfect place for a small group (if you can do stairs). It’s an older cottage with a lot of character; mismatched dishes, small stove/oven, slightly uneven floors, fun knickknacks everywhere, beautiful views of Mallett’s Bay, and lots of windows. Gordon and Beverly are super nice and easy to chat with.

Cozy cottage on Mallets Bay

Beverly and Gordon are friendly hosts and responded right away to any questions we had. We will most certainly be back again!

Fall NE Trip

Great Landing Spot

Publié le 1 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay at Loon Cottage. The cottage is right on the lake and we so enjoyed sitting down by the beach and watching all the activity. Excellent hosts. Walking distance to market and restaurants. Quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage is very clean & comfortable and is in a beautiful area easy access to bike path and they let us keep our bikes in there garage. We definitely would go back. We highly recommend staying at this cottage especially with lake champlain right there and fishing off the dock was very nice. Thank you Beverly & gordon

Peaceful and serene
Publié le 9 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the Loon Cottage on Mallets Bay. The cottage was perfect along with its location. They had a dock, so we were able to bring our boat and enjoy the lake. The cottage had everything we needed. Gordon and Bev were great hosts and they have a perfect little slice of paradise.
