Fantastic 1night stay for work reasons, staff incredibly welcoming, warm, friendly and attentive. Bar and restaurant relaxing, food excellent presentation and flavours tasty.

We had a fantastic stay at the Nether Abbey Hotel. Breakfast was delicious and staff friendly and helpful.

Room was nice if a bit cold when we first arrived but it soon warmed up. Fantastic breakfast with all you could possibly want. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. They have a tank with lobsters/crayfish with claws taped so don’t go here if this will offend.

Room. Was freezing snd facilities poor. Was glad to get home. Wasnt even asked hiw my stat as therefore no opportunity to complain. Took my money on arrival before even entering the room. Miserable experience.

Great hotel only issue we had was the there was no mention on the advertisement that the rooms were on the 1st and 2nd floors with no lift access.
This should have been made clear as the price of rooms varied.

Calm and relaxing stay in a busy place

First time staying at Nether Abbey and I would highly recommend it as a nice place to stay. Great bar and restaurant in the evening and classic Scottish breakfast in the Morning. Walking distance is just a few blocks to the downtown area.
