One room I checked into had dirty toilet. Changed room all good in new room.

You get what you pay for unfortunately. Cheap stay. Soap options suck. Lightning sucks. Ac units super super loud

It was annoying to not have a do not disturb sign so that housekeeping would not knock everyday when I needed nothing. They had to come in and change shower curtain as well one day. Maintenance had to come in to rescan the channels on my tv. Then front desk called to say that the cable company might have to come in, but not sure they ever did. Then, although it was not the fault of Motel 6, there was a loud pickup that triggered another truck's alarm every time it started or returned to the hotel. It happened so often that I believe the battery of the truck with its alarm getting triggered finally went dead as that truck never moved for days. It felt like Grand Central Station and disturbed my rest.
