We love "our" house on the lake!
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayI think this was our fourth stay at Cedar Lodge.....and we love coming back to it. It's our first choice when we are in the area and need a place to stay.
We were in town for a family wedding. My husband, our three adult kids and one significant other all stayed a various number of days. The cabin was clean, has everything we needed, close to family and the venue and in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and beautiful.
Owners are very responsive to any concerns or questions. Power went out while we were there (storm?) I contacted Susan, who did a quick check on what was going on with the power outage (24K out?) and kept us updated on the progress. Power was back on fairly quickly and our weekend proceeded without a problem.
We love this house and will be back whenever it is available and we are in the area. It really is starting to feel like "our" cabin! Thank you!

Disconnect close to the big city…

From the sunrise on the water to the twinkle of twilight in the evening the cabin is situated perfectly next to the lake. This is a great place to rest and relax!

Nice quiet Cabin on the Lake
Publié le 10 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was nice, could use some additional dusting and pest control. It is in a wooded area, so bugs will always be a concern. Know before you book, you do not have permissions to use lake. That is unfortunate. Basic Kitchen supplies and more available.

Comfortable Cabin Escape
Publié le 29 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe took a short four day trip down to Southern Indiana/Louisville. The drive up to the cabin is picturesque and the view from the screen porch is stellar. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and we played several games both in the living room and out on the porch. The hosts were very communicative and proactive to make sure you were able to find the property. Wifi was strong and fast which was great since we lost cell service. We stopped at the local general store in Elizabeth to get some deli sandwiches, the store had several basic goods if you arrive late and just need something quick. Highly recommend staying here!

Another Great Stay!
Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayI think this is our third time at this cabin-I grew up in the area and it is very convenient to stay here when visiting family. Ron and Susan are very responsive to questions. Cabin was clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. No dishwasher is sad, but wasn't a huge issue. Two of our adult kids stayed for one night while we were here and really liked the cabin. Thanks for another great stay! We will be back!

Friend Weekend
Publié le 30 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe spent the majority of our time on the porch. We used the cabin as our base of operations and explored Indiana. When we were at the cabin, that porch was phenomenal! We did everything there: ate, gamed, drank coffee, and fellowshipped.

Fall break getaway
Publié le 12 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy family - 2 adults and 4 kids - had a great stay at this property. There was plenty of space and everything we needed for a two night getaway. We were in a reasonable driving distance to Huber Orchard and for activities in Louisville. Enjoyed being by the water and the nature setting was a perfect escape. Highly recommend!
