On est dans la campagne anglaise, très au calme, le bâtiment est typique et joli, il est reconnu localement pour les prestations de mariages. Très bon petit déjeuner, duquel la maison s'enorgueillit à juste titre. Chambres et lobby un peu vieillots mais "so british", jolie véranda pour le petit déjeuner : on a l'impression d'être dehors même s'il pleut.

Nice clean room but was very noisy. Zero sound proofing and couod here next door clearly as if they were in the same room. Location not practical either.

Very disappointing don’t waste your time or money
Publié le 24 oct. 2023 sur HotelsAmazing looking property, but looks can be deceiving. Very loud guests, no hot water & no breakfast. The manager is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. It took me three weeks to get an invoice after countless phone calls, in the end I had to drive to the property to demand my invoice. The manager was very rude & when questioned about a refund for the hotel & food, she made the whole incident to be my fault 😩

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in.
Publié le 4 sept. 2023 sur HotelsThe room had a damp smell. Tell tale sign was it still had a dehumidifier in the corner of the room. Waiter was unable to provide a drinks menu with prices and no itemised bill given when paying. Breakfast was not cooked properly and had to be returned and the cappuccino from the coffee maker in restaurant was cold. Not drinkable. We both left with bites after 1 night in the room.

Oasis in Ellesemere Port
Publié le 24 juill. 2023 sur HotelsThis is a fabulous small hotel in a very quiet spot in Ellesmere Port, with lots of charm, character features, and a beautiful garden. The staff are fabulous in all parts of the hotel. The restaurant serves lovely food at a fair price, served with a smile and warmth. The hotel has a rural feel, but is a short drive away to Liverpool, Hoylake for the golf, and pretty Chester, not to forget things to do nearby. Well done Brook Hall!
