Perfect for a Group Ski Trip
Posted Mar. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayEvery year we plan a trip to Ellicottville to get a few days of skiing in. This year we had a mixed group of families with kids ranging from 15 to 6. This house had the perfect set up with lots of sleeping options, common space, and plenty of fun for the kids between the games, PS3, pool table, pac man arcade, and campfire. The hot tub was also nice after skiing all day.
This is the second property we have stayed at of the owners. They are absolutely wonderful. Their properties are always clean, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and they are very responsive.
This was also our first time staying a little outside of town. We originally thought this might be a slight inconvenience but it's such a quick short ride and with the house being so perfect for our group, it had no effect on our experience.
We would definitely stay at this property again!

A great spot for an Ellicottville getaway
Posted Feb. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our time at the ski chalet. The property was clean and well equipped and comfortable for our large crew. It is located close to tubing, skiing and the shops and restaurants in E-ville. Two thumbs up.

Great weekend of skiing

Perfect Cottage for a Big Family
Posted Jan. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayPictures really don’t do justice to this beautiful and thoughtfully organized house. We were a big group of 10 adults and 6 kids. Everyone had a place to sleep, enough towels, enough blankets, and places to lounge and sit. The vibe of the cottage was really fun: a vintage and working pac man machine, pool table, lots of classic VHS tapes, puzzles, books, games for kids and adults, and of course lots of rooster themed decor which the kids got a kick out of. There were space heaters for cooler parts of the home, we all had hot water, extra pillows, ample dishware. It was perfect, I highly recommend this house if you are a big group looking for a relaxing cottage to stay at.

several items not working
Posted Dec. 20, 2023 on HomeAwayHeat continued to trip off, we had to manually reset, after the owner had an electrician come to the property, that would have been fine though, but after skiing , we went to use the washer/Dryer in the home , but the dryer was broken . Clothes were soaked till we left the following day. sink backed up continuously.

The defective part in the heating system has been replaced with a brand-specific replacement, ensuring that this issue is resolved to prevent any future inconvenience. We replaced the heating element on the clothes dryer and we now have a second dryer on-site to ensure our guests always have access to a working dryer. We also identified the issue with the kitchen sink and have added a special filter to catch food debris, preventing future drainage problems.
