Hi Francine, I apologize for your experience during your stay. As you noticed during your stay, we are replacing the bricks around the hotel. This is going to take a few more weeks to complete. And then we are replacing all the common areas carpets. Again, I apologize for the state of the motel, but we are working to make it better.

While the room was clean, there were issues. Towels and bedding didn't look properly washed with old stains on them. The door to the room didn't have any privacy/security secodary lock, only a flip bar. Floor wasn't level, many places you would feel it give way under foot. It's a work in progress.

They gave us the cheapest room initially which was not shovelled and the parking was not near like the other half of the building. The sign also said it was a smoking room and it stunk of cigarette smoke. We asked for another room because it smelt like smoke and they said they are all non smoking rooms but gave us another room anyways. It was affordable and did the job though. The shower was also hard to work. You really had to pull on the shower valve for the water to fully go to the shower head and it took about 10 minutes for the water to heat up.

One lock on the door to the room i got was fake and the other, the deadbolt, was broken off. The only way i could secure my room was to barricade the door with chairs. On top of that, the hair dryer was also broken, and the window to the room was open a crack. Its a ground floor room, so that made me extremely uncomfortably. On top of that, the person at the check in desk was not very pleasant, so i didnt even feel comfortable asking for a new room. If i didnt need to stay here tonight, i wouldnt have.
