nice guy, poor hotel

the front desk was run by a very nice guy unfortunately the hotel is not of the same quality. Room was very warm/hot, the AC worked well but is so load that you can not leave it on for more than 5 minutes... let alone the fact that it would be impossible to leave it on during the night. neighborhood is not reassuring at all. Would not stay there again

Bien situé à 20 mn à pied du centre-ville (ou accessible par un bus à deux minutes à pied). Au milieu d'un quartier d'habitation. Chambres confortables. Petit-déjeuner basique (mais il y a des gaufres !). Personnel (mère et fils) très aimable et serviable.

The curtain do not close completely and too much light at night. Very noisy.

Stayed for 2 nights. The person checking us in was friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Plenty of bright lights outside the rooms, but the downside to this was that it felt like it was daylight in the room, even at 3am as the curtains didn’t fit well enough to block the light from coming around the sides. The listing had said breakfast was included, but nothing had been mentioned at check-in (and we forgot to ask). We passed the office a couple of times, but the door was locked and there was no obvious signs of a breakfast area. We eventually rang the bell around 9:30am and were told very politely that breakfast had finished at 9am, but it hadn’t cleared away yet so we could take some. Basic breakfast of a banana and cereal bars in a bag with coffee and pastries, but enough to keep us going through the morning. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly hosts.
