Finally settled on a hotel when I stay in Exmouth after myriad nomadic visits going back many years. Staff are always good though rarely see a familiar face from visit to visit. Will stay next time too.

Room was clean and in good condition, although dated in todays terms, but had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Free parking outside hotel but can book for private parking if happy to pay a surcharge. I had sea views and only 2 minutes walk to beach. Breakfast was excellent and all staff helpful and polite. Very happy for a budget conscious stay.

Staff were all excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The room, although basic was adequate for 1 night with a dog and was very clean. The bathroom was a bit dated but a lot of older hotels seem to need updating every so many years. Will definitely return

Had a issue with room stunk of stale smoke and had a dripping tap which was annoying location good and staff friendly but room was terrible

Had a good stay at the royal beacon Hotel The only thing that spoilt it was the key card to our room failed 3 times as we were on the 3rd floor had to go to reception every time to Get it .Special mention to the staff for making Us fell welcome Thanking you David Buck.

Great location with fantastic sea views

The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room comfortable, but the best thing about our stay was the sea view, absolutely wonderful. Located on a quiet street in an elevated position only a few minutes walk into town or to the beach. Ok so the decor was a bit tired, we'd still happily stay again.
