The hotel was great for many reasons and excellent value for money. The big let down was going for breakfast at the diner in the morning to be told that it was closed for a private commercial event. It would have been much better if the breakfast could have still happened but finished earlier than usual, or even if we could have been warned on the web site and told by the staff when checking in.

A very stylish 21st-century billet for anyone.
I'd go again but for optimal pleasure, on my next stay I'll bring
1. Kettle - essential to outwit the need to ferry piping hot beverages from a nearby hot water supply to your room. Carrying hot beverages and negotiating doors and keypads not easy!
2. Torch - how else can you penetrate the gloom to see what's in your bag/case and where?
3. A couple of coat-hangers - useful if you tire of the malignant pin-head coat-hangers that infest most hotels - why won't they trust us?

Second time we’ve stayed here and very lovely and affordable hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is very comfy. The diner next door serves up delicious food.
