Great Time. Few suggestions
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a relaxing get away in an area that we had not experienced before. Loved the creek and fire pit and our visit to Wayah Bald. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Trimming of the hedges left and right of the drive might aid exiting the driveway less difficult and a mattress update in the second floor middle bedroom would be nice.

A Mountain Paradise
Publié le 10 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is absolutely beautiful! It is spacious but cozy, and we liked that it had a bedroom downstairs. The master bedroom overlooks the river you go to sleep and wake up hearing the soothing sound of the river flow. We enjoyed the deck, the hot tub and we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows over a fire. The location is also perfect for hiking as there are many trails near by. My friends and I have stayed at several cabins through the years and we all agreed, this was the best place we’ve stayed. I definitely hope to get back to this property soon!

Long weekend get a way
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely home situated in a park-like atmosphere. We loved our stay. Home was extremely clean and had everything we could want to feel at home. Close to stores and restaurants. We loved the dry falls and a trip to Highlands for lunch.

Blissful Bears
Publié le 16 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is incredibly beautiful, bot in its setting and decor. It's also very comfortable. We had 3 adults, one teen, and a 9-year-old child in our group. We had plenty of room to spread out and everyone enjoyed our stay.
Please note there is only one shower. That was not an issue for our group at all, as several in our party enjoy taking baths and there is a beautiful tub in the upstairs bathroom. The shower is conveniently located on the first floor for anyone with mobility issues. I loved the upstairs porch, bathroom, and master suite.
All the decks and porches were amazing, and we all loved the bridge across the stream. My brother even caught some fish from the bridge. Everyone agreed they would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this property to others.

Getaway with friends

We loved the wood burning fireplace and cozying up on the couch on a rainy day, and then loved the jacuzzi and being by the creek once the weather was better. The panoramic windows in the primary bedroom were amazing, too. Once thing to note---there is only one shower. While that's listed, I totally overlooked that when booking. Unless someone likes baths, make plans to have everyone in your party share one shower.
The town of Franklin is so cute, with so many delicious places to eat! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Creekside Mountain Home
Publié le 27 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was exactly what was in the listing. You could hear the soothing sound of rushing water all day. Open, comfortable setup, the river room was amazing! We used the firepit mutiple times, as well as the wood burnin stove. Kathy's suggestions for things to so were very helpful, including the grocery store. The only challenge was not having a shower in the beautiful, large upstairs bathroom and having everyone use the downstairs shower in the smaller bathroom. This was mentioned in the listing, and not that big a deal, just the only thing that wasn't ideal for us. We would definitely rent this house again, would love to experience it in the summer!
