This was a lovely hotel! The staff was very friendly and full of recommendations. Everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance - it felt like we were in the center of everything. We enjoyed hot chocolate at the bar in the mornings and drinks there as a night cap. The beds were some of the comfiest we stayed in on our trip.

A completely fabulous hotel in all aspects. We had a wonderful three nights here. The standout feature was the satff. Some of the nicest, friendliest, kind and helpful staff you could encounter. They did everything to make us feel welcome and valued. We cannot wait to come back.

One of the best hotels my and I have ever stayed! We didn’t want to leave! Everything about the 1898 The Post was top of the line. Do not book anywhere else other than here while your in Ghent

Simply gorgeous historic hotel in the heart of Ghent with the feel of a true boutique hotel. Wonderful cocktail bar in the evening though, sadly, no restaurant. Superlative staff at all levels from reception to housekeeping.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We loved our room as well. From the recommendations of what to do and where to eat, to the kindness and hospitality during breakfast, we found everyone at the hotel to be simply fabulous
