No, no, don't do it.

Publié le 29 sept. 2017 sur Expedia
First of all, we had a "sea view" cottage. But with no view of the sea. When I told a staffer that the AC wasn't working, he said "that's the way it's always been" The bathroom and shower were disgusting, with rusting handles for the shower, and the shower and the toilet in the same space. Towels were old and worn. And there was something on the floor that made it slippery; no idea what. This would be luxury accommodations only in Venezuela or North Korea, and maybe not the latter. Incidentally, do you know that to get off the boat in Gilli Meno you have to walk through water? Just like a deserted island, except that it's really quite crowded. And charm free.

The hotel was clos to beach, but we couldn't swimm there, as it was full of rocks. The harbour was 25 min away walking. The breakfast was excellent . The bathroom was dirty. There were big death Spiders on the floor and dust and insects on the counters and shelves. The sink was dirty as well. We told the staff to clean it, but they didn't really clean the surfaces, as insects and dust were still there. The room felt very small.

Not bad at all - better when construction ends

Publié le 1 août 2017 sur Hotels
The staff were lovely - Ewik and Tin - and chatted away to us. The location is fine - just a minute walk to the beach and the best snorkelling area around Meno. Breakfast was also top notch. The room was fine with great TV for the evenings and a lovely outside seating area. One downer was the construction going on outside our room which although wasn't noisy was a tad unsightly ( bags of cement lying around) We were offered a different room but this was also next to the cement bags. They could have given us the more expensive accommodation which was empty as a comp but I guess as it was high season this was a step to far for the owner and hence why I am mentioning it. You might now be more lucky. All in all, a pleasant stay. (Please don't comment starting with an insincere remark of gratitude for my comments)

Solo Meno trip

Publié le 10 déc. 2016 sur Hotels
Staff were lovely. They gave me loval map and pointed out specifically wonderful snorkel and sunset locations. They delivered a bicycle to my villa without my asking, which was super cool. Breakfast was nice and room service and housekeeping prompt.

Charmerende hotel i smukke omgivelser

Meget venligt personale. Rigtig fin morgenmad

Brilliant!

Publié le 15 oct. 2016 sur Expedia
This hotel is exactly what you would expect on a tropical island. Clean and comfortable with terrace looking out onto beautiful gardens. The staff were fantastic, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. It's just 2 minutes from the beach, it's a quiet part of the island only 15 minutes walk from the boat so you need a horse cart transport, about £6.00 well worth it. Staff were so friendly and always smiling. Definitely a great stay in a great hotel in a great place. Many thanks Mahogany!

Quaint boutique guest houses, 50 metres from beach

Publié le 13 sept. 2016 sur Wotif
Excellent restaurant, friendly staff, free bikes and goggles. 30 minute walk along the beach to the "port", see the wild birds attracted to the tropical garden, watch the sun rise from bed. Gili meno is very quiet and peaceful (compared to GilI T). No cars or motor bikes on the Gili islands.
