Beautiful hotel, set in fantastic surroundings. Friendly, helpful staff. Great function hall, beautiful bar (The Library). The room was large, very much in keeping with the style of the hotel I'll definately be back.

Best hotel so far

Staff were super friendly and efficient, hotel and grounds were gorgeous.

Publié le 18 déc. 2023 sur HotelsNew parking arrangements not publicised before trip. An extra £10 a night on top of the room price and meals is extortionate. Electric bays put close to the hotel with well kept car park. No disabled spaces at all. Further away car parks in very bad repair and a long way to walk with suitcases etc. Very grumpy receptionist on arrival l No help with usage particularly with no lift. No disabled facilities at all. Later receptionist very friendly. Excellent meal. I intend to put this on trust pilot also

Drawing room nice to sit in. Fires were lit and hotel was warm. Bedrooms/ bathrooms could do with some updating.

Staff were all excellent, as was the food & drinks. Room was very comfortable and clean, and the building had a lot of character. We (including the dog) enjoyed sitting by the log fire after dinner. Short one night stay but would return in the summer to enjoy the grounds more.
