Beautiful Lake Front Property

Lakefront Cottage
Posted Oct. 20, 2023 on HomeAwayWe’ve stayed at this cottage four times now - great location - Dave is a good host and communicates well. Peaceful spot and can’t beat the view. It’s also easy to get to Burlington or across to New York depending on what you’re looking to do.

Loved the cabin and the view!
Posted Oct. 7, 2023 on HomeAwayGreat view, loved the screened-in porch, hammock, rocky beach, outdoor fires, walks along the road, local produce at a neighborhood farm. Overall a great experience.
Only downside was the neighbors on either side were noisy, but still we would return. Thank you!

Relaxing weekend

Beautiful view on Lake Champlain
Posted Oct. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayEnjoyed the views from the porch of this rustic cabin on the lake. Ok house for 2 adults and children (max 4 persons). One bed is comfortable, the other is not. Unable to determine the temperature of the oven bc the dial is not attached to the stove making it difficult to use. BBQ grill is nice so plan on all cooking outside. Solo stove in the yard for outdoor fire which was wonderful. Host responds quickly to all communication.

Wonderful relaxing stay!
Posted Sep. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayThis was my second time at this cottage, and I loved it again. So did my girlfriends for whom it was a first visit. We loved eating and chatting on the screen porch, hanging out in the hammock, dinner on either porch or at table outside. The views are hard to beat, and the neighborhood is peaceful.
I had some wonderful swims in the lake, and enjoyed the walking and biking in the area too.
We will be back! Thanks again for sharing this wonderful part of Vermont!

Posted Aug. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayI read all the reviews for this “cottage” before I made my reservation. According to the host it’s not a “cottage” it’s a “camp”. But not according to the listing. It’s listed as a “cottage. I don’t understand how VRBO allows such poor properties on their site.
It’s obvious my expectations are different than previous guests reviews.
There was nothing nice about the “camp”. It has a dangerous and over used oven/range, with poor wiring and lighting throughout and too few electrical outlets. It is furnished with Junk for furniture. The porch was infested with black ants. Forget the inside shower, you will have to use the one outside…even in the rain.
Contact with a host was limited. In one of the 2 conversations I had with him he was a bit cavalier in addressing the reality of one issue I had. And, basically offered no solution.
