Hoped to spend some quality time with family for NYE, but was quite disappointed. The resort and the club kept contradicting each other about the events happening. Went back and forth few times between the resort and the club for few events but got turned back saying they are fully booked and it’s a private event when the resort front desk said it’s free public events. Not the best to go when it’s not snowing as well since all the “inclusive” amenities were not available due to no snow on the ground. Kinda turned into going to an apartment with a golf course in the back instead of being in a resort. NY celebration was at 10 pm which was something u have to pay extra 150 per person for and overbooked Definitely not worth about $1000 for 2 nights, really hoped for something more than a place to just sleep.

Please accept our sincere apologies if our fully serviced suite offerings and property layout were not clearly communicated prior to your arrival. Our sprawling facility is certainly designed to compliment our top rated golf course, however in the winter we go offer indoor and outdoor activities to our guests including snowshoeing, cross country skiing, access to our private rink and barrel sauna, fitness room and our clubhouse for meals and programming. We will be sharing an extensive calendar of events on our website with monthly programming and we hope to welcome you back to regain your business this year. This was the second time we stayed at Muskoka bay resort. We liked the fact that the 2 bedroom suite we stayed in was more like an apartment then a hotel room and had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher , very spacious, very clean and was cozy and relaxing. We will definitely stay there again and we have recommended Muskoka bay resort to our friends and family.

The room was amazing and we will definitely go again. The only thing is you had to leave the hotel to get to the restaurant and all of the other things that are available there.
