Great cottage on the beach
Publié le 4 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were in Port Dover for a family wedding and rented this cottage for the Labour Day week-end with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. The cottage has great amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, had a fire every night. Lots of games in the cottage, very clean. The coffee and espresso maker were a nice addition with a good selection of coffees and teas. Anyone wanting to stay in this area, we recommend this cottage. My only complaint was the windy weather -- very high winds daily. At least they settled for the night so the campfire smoke went straight up!

Great Lake view

They lent us a ground coffee maker as we did not have pods for the Keurig. They even brought over some dessert. I have an electric bike and rode from one end of Lakeshore road to the other during our stay. Went to the Dragway park and really enjoyed it. The scenery all Lakeshore is beautiful. The girls enjoyed sitting in the sun and reading books. BBQ was used for many meals. Just wish that there were some cabinets in the bedrooms to store clothes and personal items.

Family Getaway

Cute cottage with everything you’ll need.
Publié le 4 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee and late afternoon cocktails while enjoying great water views . The back yard was great for relaxing after a full day at the beach. We took advantage of the fire pit every evening. We all had comfortable beds and the cottage is open and airy. We have no complaints, we had to contact the owner once and she was so responsive, was there in 30 minutes and took care of a bbq issue.
We would definitely return!

Weekend Getaway
Publié le 2 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful family Christmas! A 3 bedroom open concept cottage perfect for family dining and family gatherings. Fantastic Lake views and quiet setting… Due to rainy weather we went ice skating at the Cayuga arena, a town with a grocery store, pharmacy, LCBO and restaurants- a short drive.
Ideal for a young family or couples get away.
