Great cottage on a beautiful country property
Publié le 21 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was exactly what we were looking for: privacy and access to nature. Cottage was well maintained and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals right in the kitchen and had to spend some time indoors due to rain, and it was no issue at all. There's some great outdoor spaces including a short trail up the hill across the road. Host was responsive to communication and the check-in/check-out process was easy. We are looking forward to coming back some day.

You should book this place!
Publié le 27 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I loved this home! It was one of the cleanest homes we have ever stayed in. It was well stocked with quality pots/pans, dishes, bowls, glasses, mugs, utensils, bath towels, and blankets. The home was also decorated so beautifully - from the rainbow checkered toss pillows to the paintings on the walls. It was also nice having a quality washer and dryer to use during our stay. The owner had many games which included jenga and also a kit to make paper airplanes which kept my boys busy! And although we didn't venture outside on the trails, the views were gorgeous. My boys also enjoyed walking over to the lake. We would highly recommend this place! It's just a short distance to Holiday Valley to ski and Tony's Napoli pizza and fish in Olean was excellent!!

This review made me laugh, but I get it. Winter here can be pretty grey some days and the beauty of this rental is two fold—the setting and the interior. So on a grey winter day it might look like you’ve driven up to a plain little barn but surprise! When you step inside it is quite inviting, homey and comfortable. Then when the sun shines you can appreciate the hundreds of acres of unspoiled views. So I’ll say thanks for the great review.

Peaceful getaway in Hinsdale NY
Publié le 25 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayDavid’s place was the perfect peaceful getaway for my wife and I. His place had the best kitchen and cookware to make great meals. The fire place was delightful after a day of hiking on his property and nearby. My wife went skiing at holiday valley one day because of the close drive from David’s place. We highly recommend booking this place for your next trip. Thank you David!!
