Très agréable séjour en famille après 10 jours animes sur Waikiki , ces 5 jours à Kahala était très reposant

First time visiting Hawaii and loved the location, away from the crazy busy Waikiki area. The staff at resort were friendly and helpful. Loved our view of the lagoon with the dolphins.

The quiet atmosphere was appreciated! Lovely friendly staff. Pool area is too limited. People coming to pool area and securing chairs then disappearing for hours!😩 food choices are also too loud and some closed two days a week!

The property is located in a tranquil location, which is unique. However, we are moderately disappointed. 1. The unforeseen 2am false alarm during our stay was anything but a pleasant experience. 2. The facility is in desperate need of modernization and refurbishment. 3. The breakfast menu lacks diversity, as it merely mirrors the offerings available on the buffet, but at a notably higher price point. One might reasonably question why this redundant option is even offered separately. 4. Despite being labeled as "family-friendly," there is a noticeable lack of facilities catering to children. Only a small baby pool and dolphins. This oversight is frankly disappointing. 5. The parking lot does not provide an elevator to the lobby, posing an inconvenience for guests with heavy luggage or mobility challenges.

Thank you for your review and candid feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disturbance by the fire alarm. Fortunately this was determined to be a non-emergency, as we always have the safety of our guests in mind. With our phased refurbishment of the guest rooms we are excited to provide an elevated experience going forward. Sorry as well you didn't get to experience our kids friendly activities such as art class, Hula dance, lei making, ocean life education, etc. which we offer complementary to our guests. Mahalo for your visit, and we hope you will give us another opportunity in the future!

The Kahala was wonderful! This resort is beautiful, it’s classy, it’s quiet, it’s secluded. The staff is so friendly and courteous! The beach is peaceful and has plenty of room and is not crowded like other resorts Everyone is different, and this resort was one of the nicer ones I have been blessed to stay. I imagine that a lot of folk could not say the same thing, but for us, it was over the top The grounds were so well kept and here in Hawaii I think a lot of folk have a late flight departure, but Kahala has a place to keep your luggage after check out and they have a hospitality area for you to freshen up before you leave inThe late evening. Thank you Kahala for the great time, I hope we get to return ! Mahalo 🙏
