Nice beachfront view but poor beachfront attitude
Posted Jan. 23, 2024 on HotelsWhen we checked in the receptionist was very rude, detached, irritable and even confrontational. We had come a long way with an infant and just needed some answers to their cable TV since we came to view a NFL playoff game and couldn’t find it on their channels. We ended up leaving the hotel and stopping at a sports bar and asking our question. All service was average at best. Just seemed like the employees hated to be there.

The property is great winter and summer to enjoy Houghton Lake.

Great location on the shore of Houghton Lake. Clean room with a comfortable bed. Microwave and large refrigerator included. Hot tub - warm and clean. Several machines in the 24 hour fitness center. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Sofia friendly and efficient with checkin. Provided great location information. Would stay here again.
