My problem was that what I thought I was getting… ie the pictures in the Expedia site … showing 3 bedrooms … two with king beds and 1 with bunk beds is not what I got. There was also supposed to be 3 bathrooms and there were only two. The living space was not large enough for the number of people in our party…. So that was a problem when it came to all sitting together in the evening. I’m not sure where the disconnect was but the information that I booked with Expedia did not get transferred to wild dunes resort. They had the wrong number of people in the party and that had to be corrected as well.

Family stay at Wild Dunes Resort

The location of our unit was amazing! Right off the water with a perfect view of the ocean. The unit itself was a bit out dated and some of the windows didnt work to open. For the price point that was disappointing. The deck can comfortably sit 4 people with a view that is facing the ocean. The resort itself looked like it would be fun during the normal tourist season with lots of things to do. Be prepared to pay though because not being a "Member" of the community they charge you for everything. We had to pay over $60 to use the pickle ball court with no one else on any courts. That was at a discount too, they said it would usually be $80. That seems a little excessive if your already paying to stay on the property. The resort had a few restaurants and ahops on site but most were closed off season. They as well come with a price tag a normal egg and meat breakfast will run you over $20 a person and that's the starting point. There was a coffee shop and little store that was open. Prices were a little inflated but not to bad for being within walking distance. Coffee will run you about the same as a Starbucks. All said it was a really good experience for our first visit to Charleston but may look for a place that has a smaller price tag bang isint quite worth the buck in my opinion.

2 floors with 3 bedrooms and view of the ocean. Very stylishly furnished and a real pleasure.

The condo was fine and fully functional. There was no prior communication or forewarning about the renovation construction next door. Work began at 7:30-7:45 a.m. with sandblasters and what sounded like impact wrenches. At least disclose and let your guests consider options.
