Needs updating badly

This hotel is aspiring to be upscale, and does so with it's service, but the actual facility is practically falling apart. The hotel room door would not lock, the drain in the shower was clogged, we only intermittently got hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the place was clean.

The property was good, but the booking experience was poor, I had to pay an extra charge to relocate from the towers, which are different from the Sandton Sun Hotel that I expected as per my booking.

We enjoyed a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable room that contained everything we needed. Beautiful view over the swimming pool with a gym that we could visit even late at night. Rooms were serviced by well-trained staff. Thank you we loved our stay

The room was amazing. However the responsiveness of front desk was not professional. I requested for a technician to fix an issue with the TV, no one came until I called again the next day. I also requested a shuttle or transport to the airport and the gentleman at the front desk was not so pleasant and so wasn’t surprised the next morning when in fact there was no booking made. Not sure if he judged me as someone not fit for the hotel or not but definitely I am not amused . That being said , the gentleman who welcomed me on my arrival was very pleasant and professional.
